Description:
Those checkers is a classic board game that is hugely popular among checkers fans all over the world. The game has a long history that began in Russia back in the 18th century.
Moves in Russian checkers are carried out in turn. Players move their checkers to the nearest free square diagonally forward. If on the way there is an opponent's checker that can be beaten, then the player must cut it down by jumping over it and removing it from the board. In this case, the player's checker will remain on the same diagonal, but already on the next free cell after the opponent's checker.
Those very checkers are a game that requires players not only to think logically, but also to have the tactical ability to anticipate the opponent's moves and make the right decisions in every situation. The game has many possible scenarios, which makes it exciting and unpredictable.
Instructions:
1. Players take turns moving their checkers one square diagonally in the direction of the opponent.
2. If a checker is next to an opponent checker that can be cut down, the player can make a beating by moving his checker on the field behind the cut down enemy checker.
3. If the checker reaches the last horizontal, it becomes a king, which can move in any direction.
4. Checkers can be blocked by blocking fields through which the opponent cannot pass.
The game ends when one of the players cuts down all of the opponent's checkers or blocks them so that the opponent cannot make a move.
5. The first player to reach this goal wins.
6. If both players cannot make a move, the game ends in a draw.
To successfully play Russian checkers, you need to be able to anticipate the opponent's moves and build your tactics depending on the opponent's moves.
